Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Breakfasts. Pretty much the best and most exciting meal of the day. What you have for breakfast is super individual. Some people like their toast in the morning, some a smoothie or a juice and then I know there are a bunch of oatmeal lovers out there! I was always a bit jealous of everyone who could enjoy their yummy looking oats with berries in the morning. I always seemed to get a pinch in the stomach of eating oatmeal ( don't know why).

But good news! I found This quinoa-Oat bowl does not give me a pinch. Instead it is super yummy and filling, and you can enjoy it cold ( like overnight oats) or warm in the morning. It's also a great bowl to eat on-the-go.



  • 1 dl quinoa

  • 1/2 dl oats

  • 3 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil (optional)

  • 2 dl oat/almond milk

  • handfull of raisins

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp cardamom

Topping ideas:

  • Cacao nibs

  • Coconut

  • Blueberries

  • Hempseeds

  • Flaxseeds


  1. Cook the quinoa. And cook the oats (separate from the quinoa).

  2. Then in a bowl, add 1 dl cooked quinoa and 1/2 dl cooked oats. Add the milk to it and stir around with a spoon. Add all the other ingredients and let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Then your breakfast bowl is ready! Sprinkle on your favourite toppings and enjoy.

. Easy to just grab some in a little sealed bowl/cup if you are on the go. Quinoa is packed of protein and amino acids, same goes for chia seeds ( omegas, fiber, protein ). It is a bowl packed with nutrition! A great option for your busy (or non busy) day ! xx Pearl
